When you want all the advantages of Thermacore® in a 1" thick door, the 290 Series is the door of choice. Featuring the patented Thermacore construction -- consisting of a continuous layer of foamed-in-place polyurethane between two layers of hot-dipped, galvanized steel -- the 290 Series has exceptional thermal qualities and an R-value of 9.31. Durable all-steel construction is finished with a double coat of baked-on polyester paint to guard against rust and corrision and provide a finished look both inside and out. And the 290 series is backed by a 20-year limited warranty for as long as you own your home.

Your Choice of Panel Styles and Colors

The 290 Series offers two panels and an array of colors. Model 297 features classic raised panel styling. Model 298 has a contemporary flush panel. Both models are available in your choice of three colors. For model 297,
specify white (standard), almond or sandstone (special order). For model 298, specify white, almond or sandstone via special order.

As an option, regular or thermally insulated window panels can be added to any 297 or 298 Series door. Decorative Bevelite Beveled Acrylic Windows are available in the 297/298 Series. Also the optional ArmorTite™ counterbalance system is available on the 297/298 Series.
